This is a picture of a Leatherback Turtle. (Black Leather Turtle)

The leatherback turtle, the largest living turtle, lives in the sea but lays its eggs in nests on the beach. After hatching, baby leatherbacks - which are about 2.5 inches long - must avoid many predators as they race to the sea, where they will face even more dangerous predators, including sharks.
